Originally started in 1987 as a wholesale flower business, Hornbaker Gardens has since grown to be one of central Illinois's most expansive, and beautiful, public plant sellers and botanical gardens. Featuring an arboretum, two large picturesque ponds and a massive variety of perennials and annuals grown on site, a trip to Hornbaker garden is ideal for anyone looking to purchase some plants or just take in some nature. Hornbaker Gardens is still expanding, with the recent addition of natural play area for kids, known as 'The Children's Garden' and a large wedding and event venue, known as 'The Barn'.
